Alongside Andrew, I’m the director and business owner at Become. My path started with LEGO. I’ve always loved following the instructions to build rather than free-building with imagination. I think this reflects why I’m more of a technically oriented Architect than a designer.
It took me a long time to find an actual passion in architecture. It wasn’t until the moment we were standing out the front of our newly completed Boarding House for Mission Australia Housing.
The facilities manager said the four women moving in were survivors of domestic and family violence. This was their opportunity to be safe.
My friends would say I’m fun to be around, loyal, and always willing to help when needed (though I might occasionally rant!) And I still love LEGO.
